Career OS FAQ

Questions about the jobs-first experience

This phase is focused on a simple, mobile-friendly job-search automation experience rather than a concept-heavy career workspace.

What does the app actually do?

Career OS helps you collect jobs from providers and scans, rank them against your preferences, generate materials, and manage applications through interviews and offers.

Where do AI and providers live?

They are intentionally grouped under Automations so the app stays simple for day-to-day use while still exposing the controls that matter.

Why is there no separate intelligence screen?

Market intelligence, company memory, and fit reasoning are meant to appear inside the Jobs and Applications flow instead of becoming separate destinations.

Why do some screens still use placeholder data?

This slice is about fixing the product model and interaction shape first. The next API wiring pass can feed real data into the same jobs-first screens.

Is this mobile friendly?

Yes. The app is being simplified around a mobile-friendly navigation model with fast actions, compact job cards, and progressive disclosure for advanced settings.
